Cinemag is an editorial film magazine examining the origins of the French New Wave through structured layout and typographic composition. The project translates film theory into a controlled visual system, where hierarchy, pacing, and spatial balance guide the reading experience.

Built on a grid-based structure, the magazine uses scale shifts, contrast, and negative space to transform written analysis into visual rhythm. Typography functions not only as content but as form — reinforcing the movement’s focus on authorship and personal expression.

Through deliberate layout decisions and visual restraint, Cinemag demonstrates how editorial design can shape the way ideas are read, understood, and experienced.
